Creative & Academic Writing Workshop

Let’s develop your writing skills! Students will read poems, short stories, and essays in order to learn techniques from these masters to use in their own writing. They will then craft compelling poetry and stories, and produce different forms of essays, such as persuasive and expository. Students will also participate in peer editing sessions and dedicate class time to focused writing activities.
This class is a-g aligned.
Intended for students in grades 9-12, but middle school students are welcome.
