Cost: $200 for 8 hours of instruction. 

Biography: I have taught high school math for over 45 years in both public and Christian high schools. I also taught as an adjunct professor of mathematics for over ten years at Vanguard University. My BA was earned from Vanguard and my MA was from Fresno Pacific University. I have a California Single-Subject Teaching Credential in mathematics. My teaching experiences include teaching Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Trigonometry. I have also written a 400 page, consumable Geometry textbook which is copyrighted and is used mostly by homeschooled students. It includes the workbook, quizzes and tests.

Course Description: This eight-hour class will review basic algebra and geometry skills and then apply those skills to investigate a host of sample SAT questions. Worksheets will be provided but please bring a calculator, and a pencil.

Conquer any fraction frustration with the help of Mrs. Small.  This class is geared for middle school students who want to build foundational math skills to better understand fractions, decimals, and percents; place value; order of operations; number lines; and more.  Either using your own curriculum or Saxon Math 7/6, this class will help middle-school students gain a solid foundation of algebraic reasoning and geometric skills as they prepare to move on to higher-level math.  Mrs. Small can also help eliminate math monsters by providing homework accountability to keep up with math lessons with either the syllabus provided or one completed by the parent.

COST: 

  • $250/ semester private pay.
  • Plus $20.00 Registration Fee
