Foreign Language 2024 – 25

LATIN I

Taught by Lilli Witczak

Thursday

1:00 – 2:00

CLASS BEGINS:  September 5, 2025

COURSE DURATION:  1 school year, from September 2024 through May 202

Memoria Press, First Form’s publisher, states that completion of the material in this book fulfills the requirements for one year of high school credit. Included in the textbook portion of the class, students will learn to recognize English derivatives of Latin words which will help them to increase their understanding of English. Latin students will have a better grasp of English grammar and will be better prepared for standardized testing (see Susan Bauer’s Well-Trained Mind). If possible, we will be taking the National Latin Exam in March; this will look good on your child’s transcripts.

COST: $250.00 per semester ($275 if a charter student) plus books.

Miss Lilli is a vendor for: Sky Mountain, ILEAD, Excel Academy, Sage Oaks, Golden Valley, Gorman, Inspire, and more.
