This one-year course will give you an overview of British literature, poetry and essays. We will start with Anglo Saxon poetry and some Arthurian legends, and end with works like Animal Farm by George Orwell. Students will get a chance to improve their writing skills through a variety of assignments, both essay and creative. Let’s explore this island country’s literary heritage together!
This class is a-g aligned.
Intended for students in grades 9-12, but middle school students who can handle the reading and themes are welcome.
