Foreign Language 2023-24

Beginning Hebrew!

Recommended grade levels –

7th through Adult

Taught by Lilli Witczak

Class begins February 7, 2024

Meets:

  • Wednesdays

  • 11:00 – 12:00 pm

Hebrew is a relatively easy language to learn. The goal of this class is for students to be able to identify the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, be able to write some words, read Hebrew (not necessarily know what the words mean), and be able to use a Hebrew dictionary. Plus, students will learn a couple of Hebrew songs and prayers. Finally, students will learn some of the differences between ancient and modern Hebrew.

With the tools the student learns, the student should be able to translate Bible verses from Hebrew to English, by looking up the words in a dictionary. Lastly, this class will be VERY laid back. Stress free!

COST: $250.00 for the semester ($275 if a charter student)

 COURSE DURATION: 1 semester.

TEXT BOOK REQUIRED None yet. For now, simply bring pencil, eraser, and paper.
