Junior High to High School level Latin class. Memoria Press, First Form’s publisher, states that completion of the material in this book fulfills the requirements for one year of high school credit. Included in the textbook portion of the class, students will learn to recognize English derivatives of Latin words which will help them to increase their understanding of English. Latin students will have a better grasp of English grammar and will be better prepared for standardized testing (see Susan Bauer’s Well Trained Mind).

COST: $185.00 per semester ($210 if a charter student) plus books, etc.  Plus a one time non-refundable registration fee of $25, which is waived for students whose paid tuition and registration are postmarked before August 1.

Course duration: 1 year.

ABOUT THE TEACHER: I have been signing for almost 20 years now.  I started ASL classes my freshman year of high school and continued into college.  I also currently teach ASL full time at Maranatha High School in Pasadena. 

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Students learn advanced vocabulary and grammar in this intermediate-level workbook for serious ASL students. More dialogues, ASL performances with storytelling, poetry and Deaf Culture. Level 2 topics include: Locating Things Around the House, Complaining, Making Suggestions and Requests, Exchanging Personal Information: Life Events, Describing and Identifying Things, Talking about the Weekend.

COST: Class duration 2 semesters $275 per semester per student plus the cost of workbook 

(Family discounts available if more than one family member takes the course together)

Workbook with DVD: Signing Naturally Level 2 Student set.  $69.95 plus tax and shipping.  Please do not purchase a used book with writing in it.
